Before Justin Liau was qualified as a practising lawyer, he was employed in the information technology industry for many years. He is familiar with computer hardware, software development and software agreements.
Thereafter, he joined the insurance industry and worked in the claims department for several years. His scope of duty includes looking into the compensation amount; establishing the issue of liability; negotiate with third party claimant and/or lawyer (property damage and personal injury) to arrive at the amount of compensation etc. He is familiar with the process of motor accident claims (property damage and personal injury), the rules and regulations and the reasonable amount of compensation.
During his practice, he is well-versed with insurance law. He has represented many local and foreign insurance companies. He has also done matrimonial, civil, criminal litigation and those area of law as stated in this website. |
